We are so excited to welcome Chief Constable Catherine as our newest ambassador.
Catherine says,
'Hi I'm Catherine and I am the Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police. I became a police officer in 2000 when I joined the Metropolitan Police and have had the opportunity to perform different kinds of roles during my career. These have included front line uniform policing, covert policing running firearms commands, leading the protection of high-profile individuals and working overseas.
I grew up in a guiding family and recognise the incredible opportunities guiding offers and I really want to be part of that. Having graduated from a Brownie all the way to a district commissioner I am so excited about being an ambassador as I will have an opportunity to share with you the wonderful world of policing, the opportunities it offers and how much it supports our communities much like guiding itself.
I will be available for individual units and region events, talks on keeping safe, the Chief Constable role and careers in policing, and can organise for colleagues to attend unit evenings along with equipment.'
