Girlguiding South West England

Girlguiding South West England is a charitable organisation which provides opportunities for over 80,000 Members to enjoy the unique experience that Guiding offers throughout South West England and the Channel Islands. People sometimes forget we are a charity and that we rely on the generosity of our Members and supporters to allow us to provide these opportunities.

There are many ways in which you could help support us financially. For more information, please contact the Region Office on 01722 329306.

Over 3,300 retailers such as Amazon, eBay, Tesco, Just Eat and Trainline will make a donation to your unit when one of your supporters shops with them online via easyfundraising. It only takes a few minutes to register and there is no extra cost to those who shop through the site.

The Region's evening Roadshows provide us with an opportunity to explain to local businesses and organisations the opportunities that modern Girlguiding offers girls and young women.

Added to the grants and loan funds available to help with the cost of attending trainings and conferences, to assist those suffering financial hardship to raise funds in order to attend an event, camp or international event, or to help groups with the cost of building or maintenance projects, is a new grant from the DofE Diamond Fund which is aimed at increasing the number of young members in disadvantaged areas working on their DofE Awards.

Girlguiding in South West England can provide excellent opportunities for companies and organisations to support girls and young women in the 21st Century. We look for partnerships that will enhance the experience of our Members though innovative programmes, events and resources.
