The SNUG has been put together to help those who are starting up new units. It is to help support units as they begin their journey, and help make them a success. We are delighted that you are starting a new unit in Girlguiding South West England!
The Volunteer Welcome Grant is available to help unit’s welcome new leaders and unit helpers by assisting with the cost of starting their volunteer journey with Girlguiding. The grant can be used for either the cost of the volunteer’s training or for uniform/members wear or a combination.
To assist Rangers, Young Leaders, Leaders, Unit Helpers and Commissioners from all counties and islands to apply for a grant towards the costs of attending trainings and conferences organised either by Girlguiding (eg PR, Membership Systems events) or Girlguiding South West England (eg Walking, TIQ) or a recognised external organisation at a venue recognised and approved by the region.
