Introducing our brand-new regional partnership with Elevate(her) Aviation!
Elevate(her) Aviation is a global organisation dedicated to inspiring and supporting more women to pursue careers in aviation. Together, we'll be helping girls discover the exciting opportunities aviation has to offer and inspiring the next generation of pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers and more.
Katherine Moloney, founder of Elevate(her) said, “We are incredibly excited to be partnering with Girlguiding South West England to inspire the next generation of women in aviation. Showcasing the diverse range of careers and opportunities available within the aviation industry and helping young women see a future for themselves in the sector, is something we are deeply passionate about. Through this partnership, we look forward to opening young people’s eyes to the many pathways into aviation, challenging perceptions, and inspiring the next generation of women to take to the skies - whether as pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers, aviation professionals, or in the many other exciting roles across the industry."
Keep your eyes on the skies in early 2027, when we'll be launching an exciting new aviation-themed challenge pack for all sections. Packed with fun activities, inspiration, and learning opportunities, it's designed to help girls explore the world of aviation and imagine where it could take them!
Racheal Tattum, Chief Commissioner for Girlguiding South West England, said, “I am delighted that GGSWE is partnering with Elevate(her) Aviation, an organisation that is making a meaningful impact on the future of aviation. Their commitment to supporting, informing and inspiring women in aviation perfectly aligns with our own values and ambitions. Through this partnership, we are excited to share our engaging aviation resources and activities for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers, helping young people discover the wide range of opportunities available within the sector. Together, we hope to create greater opportunities, increase representation, and inspire the next generation of aviation professionals, helping to build a sustainable aviation workforce for years to come.”
