Every Unit should have a minimum of one Leader with a current 1st Response qualification and it is a requirement for a First Aider to be present at any Guiding activity.  If you are a Leader whose qualification has expired during lockdown, or you are a Leader-in-Training and need 1st Response to complete your Leadership Qualification, help is at hand!

You will receive notice 120 days prior to your A Safe Space qualification expiring.  Please renew this as soon as you can - this will not affect your renewal date in three years' time.

Trainers are required to renew their Training Qualification every three years and the forms and information provided should help with this process.

We have now taken over 3,000 bookings for our online Region World Thinking Day Event for 2022 and are en route to repeating the huge success of last year's 'visit' to the WAGGGS World Centres.

Join us on a culinary trip across the globe on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th February 2022.  You can take part as a unit, district or division meeting, either in person or virtually, or you and your girls can take part as individuals.  We will be offering a selection of activities from each of the WAGGGS Regions, all with a food theme.  You can choose a variety of different activities to create your own exclusive event for either a few hours or the whole weekend, whilst also being able to take part in a larger online event with other members from across the Girlguiding South West England Region.
