Every Unit should have a minimum of one Leader with a current 1st Response qualification and it is a requirement for a First Aider to be present at any Guiding activity.  If you are a Leader whose qualification has expired during lockdown, or you are a Leader-in-Training and need 1st Response to complete your Leadership Qualification, help is at hand!

You will receive notice 120 days prior to your A Safe Space qualification expiring and you should look to renew this as soon as you can.  If you do not complete your training by the renewal date, you become non-compliant and will no longer be permitted to attend any Girlguiding activity including Unit meetings, virtual meetings and events.

Trainers are required to renew their Training Qualification every three years and the forms and information provided should help with this process.

Rythmicity Logo

Rhythmicity offer drum workshops for all ages. Their main aim is that everyone should have fun! Instruments are swapped around so there is lots of variety and participants learn to work together. Workshops can be arranged at your meeting place or even at camp and prices are negotiable.

Are you between 17* and 30? Ever wanted to do some voluntary work? Wondered what it would be like to work on a community project in a developing country? Want to broaden your horizons and help others do the same?
