This challenge has been designed for the public as part of The Big Help Out, to encourage people to volunteer within Girlguiding, whilst showcasing what Guiding is all about. It will demonstrate the wonderful opportunities that are available to our members.

This challenge is open to any adult who is not currently a member of Girlguiding. It is an opportunity for you to find out more about us, discover the fun we have in Girlguiding and see how you can support us in a variety of different ways. To complete your Tri-Guiding Challenge we are encouraging you to do three things to support your local Girlguiding groups.

The three tasks can be completed at any time but anyone who completes the challenge before 31st October 2023 will receive a small reward of thanks from us.

To complete the Girlguiding SWE Tri-guiding Challenge you need to:

1. Help promote your local Girlguiding Group. This could be some social media coverage, displaying some posters or distributing flyers.

2. Take part in an event or activity with a local Girlguiding group. This could be anything from helping to set up for a meeting, helping with fund raising activities, or baking a cake for an activity!

3. Try out a meeting – join a meeting for the night, bring a hobby or skill to share with a unit or help out on a trip.

Please download the instruction sheet for full details of the challenge.

A list of ideas can be found on our challenge postcard where you can also keep a record of your activities. You can download the postcard here.

Printed postcards can also be requested from our region shop (postage cost only).
