Stuck at home and unable to get out for a walk? Put on your favourite music and try walking on the spot in the garden or in the kitchen. There are some great walking exercise classes available online and you can clock up several miles without leaving the house!
We will add your miles/km to our 'Ramble Calculator' and keep you updated via the Region Website and Facebook page with the current distance covered, and how the various Counties and Islands are performing. We will also bring you news of any special achievements, so do keep in touch with us on Facebook and Twitter - #GreatRegionRamble.
We have produced a Challenge Sheet with new outdoor activities to be completed during your ramble, whether you are out in the countryside, at the beach, or in a city or town. Complete five of these to qualify for our fabulous new badge - there is something for every age and many of the activities will also count towards your UMA's and Skill Builders. As always, the activities can be adapted to suit any special circumstances.
