The purpose of the role is to champion growth as a key priority for Girlguiding South West England and to work with the Lead Volunteer for MGR and play an active role in the County/Island MGR volunteer network. 

This role would suit volunteers that are 18 years old and over and hold the Girlguiding Training Qualification.    

You will be: 

·       Be responsible for coordinating training opportunities with a focus on growth and retention. 

·       To assist in helping to organise the annual MGR conference.  

·       Work to develop training for volunteers wishing to open new units and accessing grants. 

·       Help support the Region team and Counties/Islands in Membership, Growth and Retention. 

·       Keep up to date with new resources and recruitment initiatives.

·       Attend level-specific meetings and events as appropriate.
