The Role Description for this Lead Volunteer has been updated to reflect the impact the role will now have on growing the Region by working alongside the Membership, Growth and Retention Team. In addition, the Lead Volunteer will help to improve communications with our members generally and with the County and Island teams in particular, and to promote the Region both internally and externally across South West England and beyond. The successful applicant will represent the County and Island PR Advisers and the Region's Marketing and Communications Team at the forthcoming Strategy Meeting and will play a key part in determining the Region's Strategy for the next five years.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual with an ability to motivate and inspire as a leader, but who can also work as part of a team. We will provide you with any training you may need, plus the support to make the role a success.
The Region will be holding its first joint meting of Marketing and Communications and Membership, Growth and Retention in Basingstoke on 2nd October 2021. Let Kate know if you would like to join us for the day to get a feel for what the role is about and to meet some of the volunteers and staff you would be working with.
