"Hi everyone! My name is Caragh McMurtry, I'm a former Great Britain rower and Tokyo Olympian. I'm super excited to be a Girlguiding South West Ambassador as I love what Girlguiding represents - girls and women coming together, pushing boundaries, and learning valuable life lessons! As an Autistic woman who was unaware of her neurodivergence for many years, I had to learn the hard way how to navigate life and push my own boundaries.

I truly believe that for me, being a Girlguiding member could have made that learning process a lot less painful and a lot more fun, and so as an Ambassador I'm here to support and inspire anyone who 'doesn't fit the mould', and to show that no matter what challenges you face in life, there's always a way to overcome them, and that as a girl in Girlguiding, you've got a head start!"
